📍 Mygłody, Poland – Plast Poland Camp Site
If you think that Plast is only for kids — think again.
This summer marked a historic moment: for the first time ever, Ukrainian Plast members joined an English-speaking camp for adults, hosted at the beautiful Plast Poland camp location in Mygłody.
The program, Give Peace a Dance, was organized in partnership with We See You, Changing Stories, and an incredible team of international trainers from Belgium, the Netherlands, and India.
Peace Through Dance, Movement, and Creativity
The camp explored peace not through lectures, but through experience:
- dance and movement sessions,
- martial arts practices,
- poetry and creative expression,
- clowning and playfulness,
- bodywork and mindfulness techniques.
It wasn’t just about dancing (though there was plenty of that 💃🕺).
It was about slowing down, reconnecting with our bodies, laughing, crying, sharing stories, and discovering peace as something we carry within ourselves.
And yes — the authentic Indian tea became a daily ritual of warmth and connection.
A Community of Trainers and Participants
A heartfelt thank-you to the six trainers whose energy and presence shaped the entire week, including:
Geertje Klaver, Bhumika Parekh, Magdalini Straka, Gert Daniels.
Their sessions brought depth, emotion, and transformation.
Special gratitude also goes to:
🙏 Plast Poland (Płast Polska) for their warm hospitality (and truly amazing food!),
🙏 Ihor Mryczko, Head of Plast Poland, for organizing, supporting, and joining us in this unique experience.
A Journey Beyond a Program
This camp was more than a week-long workshop.
It was a journey of emotions, self-discovery, vulnerability, and connection — a space where adults could grow, rest, and rediscover joy.
What happened in Mygłody… stays in Mygłody 😉
But one thing is certain:
✨ We can’t wait for next year.
