Passing the Peace Light of Bethlehem with Polish Scouts

This time, the Peace Light of Bethlehem met us at the Rava-Ruska – Hrebenne border crossing.

Around 50 Plast members and the same number of Polish scouts (harcerz) gathered there — different countries, shared values!

The Polish Scouts passed the Light to us as a sign of support for our bond and the brotherhood between our organizations.

Together, we sang the anthems of our organizations and the song of the Bethlehem Peace Light.

With the participation of the Polish authorities, the Light was kindled in a shared campfire, and to the song “Ogień” we carried it further on its journey.

There were heartfelt conversations, an exchange of gifts, new friendships, and meaningful connections among our youth.

And, of course, plans for the future — including an agreement on a spring meeting that we are already looking forward to with great excitement!
