Camp for children of Ukrainian defenders “2 weeks without war” held in Marburg
For 14 days the children have escaped from the sirens and explosions. Participants had the opportunity to spend 4 days with local German families!
We expound the words of gratitude to the City of Marburg for the financial support and the opportunity to hold the event!
We thank to DPSG Marburg scouts for the warm welcome and exchange of experience, the atmospheric campfire and the time spent together!
We are grateful for the German psychological assistance and their support, as the children struggle with the fears and hard experiences imposed by the Russian-Ukrainian war every day.
This camp is extremely important for the children of defender parents because it allowed them to feel safe after a long stressful period in Ukraine. We also found friends and proper support among the Marburg Scouts. We hope that the new acquaintances will be long-lasting, and the memories of the camp will remain in their minds for a long time
