Plast members participated in National scout camp in Italy

During the trip, Ukrainian children had the opportunity to meet Italian scouts who organized a warm welcome and treated them to delicious melon. The children spent some of the camp days with Italian families, swimming in the Ionian Sea and enjoying the sun of the South of Italy! A tour of Italian cities, including Trevisio, Ukrainian flags, discussions on spiritual topics and visits to places of power of the Italian people made an unforgettable impression.

“Our young Ukrainian Scouts-Plast members were surrounded by the utmost care and attention!!! This is very important in times of war, when children are in stressful situations, especially for children of military personnel and children from the war zone!” says the leader of the trip, Lyubov Brynska.

We are immensely grateful to the Пласт Канада – Plast Canada Member Group who made this project so important for Ukrainian children possible. Thanks to you, we felt warm abroad, spent days without air raids, and made friends with whom we hope to keep in touch in the future.
