Peace light of Bethlehem and its Meaning
for Plast members

🔥Very soon, the moment will come when Peace light of Bethlehem will rekindle in our candles and in our hearts!

Every year, Scouts light a flame in Bethlehem, the birthplace of Jesus Christ, and share it with communities all over the world.

⚜️Plast members were the first in history to bring the Peace light of Bethlehem to Ukraine, and for over 30 years, we have carefully shared it across the country with warmth and responsibility.

This year, the main message of the Bethlehem Light of Peace is: “With Light, we overcome darkness.” Especially now, in these challenging times in Ukraine, the Light reminds us that even the deepest darkness can be illuminated by acts of kindness and solidarity.

For Plast members, the Light is more than just a flame — it is a symbol of unity, support, and our commitment to help others through good deeds ❤️‍🩹

During the distribution ceremonies, we not only share the flame, but also its meaning. We talk about the concept of the “good deed” — the small or big actions that bring light into the lives of others — and we invite everyone to join us in this mission.

This Light will also reach the frontline, military units, and our Scouts defending the country. We will deliver Christmas gifts to them and share moments of hope and celebration. We call on everyone to take part in this special time: help those in need, support communities, care for the sick, the elderly, and anyone who could use a helping hand.
