From July 27 to August 2, Plast members joined an extraordinary international gathering — Hetica Camp, hosted by the Scouts of Romania, where more than 750 scouts came together for a week of adventure, learning, and friendship.
A Legendary Story and Daily Adventures
The camp’s story invited participants to collect fragments of a legendary shield meant to unite people. Each day offered new experiences:
- Exploring the streets of Târgu Jiu and discovering its history
- Watching a moving film about scouts during World War I
- Venturing into mysterious caves and reaching mountain summits
- Laughing together in a waterpark and climbing rocks under the summer sun
- Participating in creative workshops, filling the camp with color and imagination
International Friendship and Cultural Exchange
What made this camp truly unforgettable was the spirit of international friendship. Scouts from Poland, Slovenia, Slovakia, Romania, and Ukraine lived side by side in tents, sharing hikes, late-night talks, traditional dishes, and campfire gatherings.
Hetica Camp reminded everyone that scouting is not just about nature or activities — it’s about building bridges across borders and connecting people through shared experiences.
Gratitude to Organizers
💚 A heartfelt thank you to the Scouts of Romania and the Romanian branch of Erasmus+ for making this incredible experience possible.

Romania’s Magic
Hetica Scout Camp showed us the magic of Romania — its nature, history, and people — leaving every participant enchanted, inspired, and eager for the next adventure.
