Italy is opened for Ukrainian scouts!

Thanks to our foreign friends we had three camps in Italy. Hiking, learning new skills, having master-classes and sport competitions – all of these activities were waiting for Ukrainian children! Moreover, scouts from CNGEI provided one of Plast camps “Hiking boots” with camping place, goods and logistic moments – thank you for hospitality and kindness!

“Scouting breaks barriers – we got acquainted with wonderful Padre Pipo, who was with us everyday. We quickly got along, though he doesn’t understand Ukrainian and English languages as we don’t know Italian”, said Plast members from that camp.

We want to thank Guido Maccabiani for hospitality in scout base “Fondazione San Giorgio ONLUS”, Alessandro Zinkiv for helping with communication and our friend in Plast Iuriy Leshchynskyi who found people that provided our camps with bases.
