Volodymyr Zelenskyy awarded the Plast member with the “Golden Heart”

Natalka Nagulyak is a doctor, and with the beginning of the full-scale invasion she started working in the volunteer headquarters. More than 17 tons of medical aid passed through her hands and were provided by hospitals, polyclinics, military hospitals and mobile medical battalions.

The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, presented the Golden Heart award to Natalka Nagulyak.

“This is not only my accomplishment. This is the accomplishment of thousands of volunteers and our friends from other organizations. I am grateful to my brother, who organized the Swedish aid hub. The majority of medical aid we received and distributed among hospitals came from that hub. I am grateful to everyone to whom I came for help. I knew that they would never turn their back on me,” Natalya tells what this award means to her.

Together for the 10 months of the war Plast community helped more than 500 000 Ukrainians. Every day every member of Plast does everything possible to bring victory closer.
