The Plast members took part in the National Jamboree held on July 12-19 in Iceland.
The participants were scouts from many countries, including the United States, Canada, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Great Britain, Finland, Lithuania, France, Sweden, Iceland and others.
The camp program included several blocks – a free program (boats, archery, radio scouts, international cafe and singing), a compulsory program (activity block, creativity, hacking and good deeds, socially useful activities). In addition, there were several camp-wide field games.
During joint activities, participants had the opportunity to exchange experiences and communicate with scouts from abroad, and together with Canadian scouts, they cooked dumplings and treated everyone to a meal.
We are sincerely grateful to Úlfljótsvatn – Útilífsmiðstöð Skáta – Outdoor Scout Center which warmly welcomed us and provided us with accommodation.
We thank the Icelandic Scouts Skátarnir for organizing such a large-scale event
